Schafgufel: Bild

Schafgufel:
From the Sarotla hut follow the normal hiking trail until you
reach the pass (Zwölferjoch). Do not go over the pass and down in the
direction of the Nonnenalp but rather go up the little hill to the right.
Then wind your way through the bolders and out onto the slope in the
direction of the Schafgufel. From hier one should be able to see the
summit cross. The slope leads slowly down into the ravine between Schafgufel
and Zwölferkopf. From this point one should be able to see the tracks which
come out of the revine and lead up the the first rock slabs on the
Schafgufel. So, climb down into the revine and following the tracks
hike up to the the rock slabs on the Schafgufel. Then go right along the
rock slabs until you reach a steep gully full with grass and loose stones.
Take your hands out of your pockets and climb up the gully until you
reach the ridge. Then hike up the ridge until you reach the summit.
